My entry shot with my CanonA85 on Scene setting, no flash.
I would be remiss if I didn't post about "The Happiest Place On Earth". After all... I live in Orange County, California... 10 minutes away "as the crow flies"... from the "Magic Kingdom"... DISNEYLAND!
It is where a child can be a child...and a grown up can feel like a child again. Look beyond the crowds, the money spent, and the long lines. Just enjoy the magical feeling of being with those that you love. Cherish the smiles on their faces as they gaze upon the colors and the fireworks....for these moments sometimes only come once if you're fortunate. How perfect the setting..."The Magic Castle"... where every story has a beautiful ending.
May you all find that same happiness in your lives.
Why am I not surprised? I knew u would take the theme and come up w/something special!.. Great shot of this..And I love how u captured the firework!!.. The 'happiest place on earth'.. and also most magical..

you know, I rarely take pics of anything but I enjoy the photographs that the others post. I wish I could post a pic from the net but that would prob go against the rules, so I'll just admire the work of the talented photographers among us :)))
If I had to share one of the happiest places in my life, it would be this place, Sioux Lookout, in Ontario. My father used to take me here as a child and my happiest memories are here. This is a pic from photobucket....not my own.....just to clarify. I'm not entering the contest....just wanted to share this with you.
Ohhhhhhhhh...Disneyland...I love it there...I haven't been there since 1977 when my oldest son was 4 months old...what a fun place...Beautiful picture!!!
Romey I love it. It's definitely magical. Fantastic colours in the photo as well. Haven't seen much of Lusy this week and have been very busy. Do hope she's alright. I am off to Solvang first thing in the morning and am off to bed now. Have a great weekend and shall see you when I get back.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhh thank you!! What a great memory to re-visit! I got to go to 'your' Disneyland in 1998 and saw this site first hand.. or first eye. :) It truly is a Magical place...
I'm back in memory lane here Romey, we were there back in 2004 .. such a magical place indeed .. I can't wait to go back there with Ariel .. it will be fun-tastic trip all - over again !!! PS. Excellent shot as always, thank you for sharing ;o)
I am so waiting for your magic, rom!!! and true! that place is really magical... now, if only i can visit even the one in Hongkong....! LOL right now i can definitely afford to look beyond the crowd and the long lines... but, i don't have the money to look beyond to, though.... ROFL!
thank you for visiting and the compliments you left on my magical falls....!
Looking at this, I am reminded of Fantasyland, Adventureland, The Mickey Mouse Club (original days of old that is) Spin and Marty, Micky, Pluto and of course the magical fairey ... Tinkerbell ... all magical moments in this old boy's lifetime. Thanks for posting this.
(zorra ... no matter the age ... we all become kids when we walk into The Magical Kingdom ... Grinning)
Thanks for the visit and comments, greatly appreciated. I too have been to Sedona, about 10 years ago. Just gotta love what nature creates without man's interference. 8=)
Your photo looks so dreamy and purely magical! I've never been to Disney - land or -world, I think if I did I'd never want to leave, too caught up in the magic =) Thanks so very much for your kind comment on mine - I appreciate your stopping by. Have a beautiful weekend!
Very nice and great picture. Initially when I saw the theme magical I thought about the magic caslte. I was recently at work and lady saw saying that she went to Disney World in Florida, and when she talked about it she had so much joy and happiness in her voice and spirit that I became so excited that I started reseacrhing way to get to that place as so as I got home. But the major thing I remember was her saying that she saw the magic castle and when she was explaining it I started to cry and the only thing I could say was, "wow, I am going to go with my family". Thanks for the great picture!
We would love to have you. I am an annual pass holder and go to DW at least 5 times a year. My next trip is in a month. As you can see from my headshot, I was just there for the EPCOT Flower and Garden Show. The wallpaper on my page is the first fountain you come by as you enter EPCOT!.
hi Romeo, Thanks for the magical wish :) Excellent shot! I like the blue... Thanks for the encouragement too, Romeo, without you, I don't think I can make it for this week ppf again. :) Have a nice day!
It is where a child can be a child...and a grown up can feel like a child again.
Nothing more magical than the childhood...and what a great imagie, my friend :) This weekend i have stayed in a mountain cabin close to one of our most famous glaciers..25 of our friends and family were invited to go hiking and having dinner together! so i have hardly seen any pps until now. ty for commenting mine :) http://amalie2.multiply.com/
I'm happy you have a magical place down the road, Romey. My daughter will be spending her senior trip in that happy place very soon. However, having spent too much of my life working in the Florida version of that place (among other theme parks) I will let you and the hordes of others have it to yourselves. lol ... my poor kids ... although we did take them to Disney world about 8 or 9 years ago (yep, we caved to kid pressure).
Ah, we are of alike minds! Although your photo is certainly more magical than mine! I envy you, only 10 minutes away from Disneyland. If I lived that close by, I would be visiting several times a year. I leave this wednesday for Disneyland Paris, a 6 hour drive.
Your picture looks really you are taking me to a dream that will come true specially your background music that I used to sing when I was a singer here.....and this is the lullaby I always sing to my handicapped daughter that makes her sleep like an angel. Thank you for sharing.....LOVELY!!!!!
O yes, I can feel the magic right now. We don't have a Disneyland here but there is a huge amusement park in the suburb and every time I go there with my nephews and nieces, I think I enjoy it more than them... :-) Nice take on the theme, bro and you're so lucky!
i love disneyland so much I could live in the cinderella's castle if I could!! I really want to visit there everyday... I onced got the intership offered to work in WDW Florida but I had to turn it down cos the intership is for 2 years... ughhh... I had to waste my age...
